UPDATE: Suspect identified in Harrison Co. officer involved shooting

CYNTHIANA, Ky. (WTVQ)- We now know the name of the suspect connected to an officer involved shooting in Harrison County Sunday night.

State Police say 32-year-old Jerry Hall led troopers on a pursuit, which led to troopers firing shots at Hall’s vehicle.

CYNTHIANA, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police are investigating a police involved shooting in Harrison County.

Troopers say it started as a suspicious vehicle call around 6 p.m. that turned into a police chase on Meadow Lane in Cynthiana.

Police and Sheriff’s Deputies were pursuing a man with warrants, though KSP isn’t sure they knew that at the time.

During the pursuit, troopers say shots were fired. Luckily, no one was hit.

Still, KSP is investigating and trying to figure out who fired those shots.

The suspect was arrested when the pursuit came to an end on Indian Creek.
