POWELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Several cats could be euthanized this week because the animal shelter they are at is running out of room.
On its Facebook page, the Powell County Animal Shelter says it was forced to shut down its outdoor cat building because there was no heat.
It says it has too many cats and not enough space.
The shelter says it will have to start euthanizing cats on Friday if they are not adopted.
The shelter is offering a $25 price with spay or neuter services included.
