LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man found shot to death at a welding business in Lexington Friday morning has been identified as the owner of the business.
The Fayette County coroner identified the victim as 57-year old Clarence T. Henley, of Jessamine County. He was the owner and operator of Henley Welding and Iron Works, according to the coroner.
Henley was pronounced dead at his place of business off Delaware Avenue at 8:05 a.m. He was discovered by an employee, according to Lexington Police.
Investigators say they believe the shooting likely happened Friday morning.
An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete as of this writing.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One person was found shot to death at a welding business off Delaware Ave. in Lexington Monday morning, according to police.
They say around 7:25 an employee of Henley Welding and Iron Works found a 57-year old man with a gunshot wound on the businesses property.
According to officials they are investigating the death as a homicide.
