LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that strip patching work is scheduled for various routes in Jessamine County. Strip patching is a mobile operation.
Work will begin Wednesday, November 21 from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Catnip Road and then progress to the remainder of the routes.
Lane and/or shoulder closures may be in place during the operations. Flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic.
Significant delays are anticipated during the hours of work.
Motorists should try to utilize an alternate route.
Below are the areas scheduled for strip patching operations:
- Catnip Hill Road/KY 3375
o milepoint 1.11 to 1.38
o milepoint 1.71 to 1.93
o milepoint 2.09 to 2.51
- North 3rd Street/KY 169
o milepoint 10.81 to 10.83
- Ashgrove Pike/KY 1981
o milepoint 1.08 to 1.60
o milepoint 4.10 to 5.00
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
