LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Deputies with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department say they arrested a man regarding a deadly DUI crash in September 2018.
Deputies say 36-year-old Chris Francis was driving a vehicle while on meth and was driving on the wrong side of the road when the crash happened.
Investigators say that during the crash, the passenger in the car with Francis was killed. Three others in the car hit by Francis were injured, two of them taken to the hospital.
Sheriff’s deputies say Francis did not have insurance at the time of the crash.
Deputies say Francis has previously been convicted of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, in 2014 and the other in 2016.
Francis was charged with murder, along with other charges.
