RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – A local gym is giving back this veterans day by giving those who served a chance to use its equipment for free.
The Urban Ninja Project in Richmond opened its doors Monday. All service members were allowed to take advantage of trampolines and rock climbing walls to get a workout or just a couple hours of fun.
“We really respect those who served and wanted to give back to the community and those who have fought and given us the ability to have a facility like this,” said James Golden with Urban Ninja Project.
Golden says a lot of the equipment in the gym is inspired from different obstacle courses in military basic trainings across the globe.
