Car crash in Trigg County kills two


CADIZ, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people are dead after a car crash in Trigg County.  State Police say around 5 PM on Saturday they were called to investigate on US 68/80 near Commerce Street in Cadiz.

Troopers say it appeared 62-year-old Roger Marlow from Cadiz was driving west in a pick up when he crossed the median into the east bound lanes.

He reportedly hit a 2012 Toyota Rav4, which 31-year-old Patrick Maillet from Tennessee was driving.

The coroner pronounced Marlow dead at the scene.

Maillet died at the Trigg County hospital.

Troopers say neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
