LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Activists gathered in Lexington to support Robert Mueller and his investigation.
This is one of the many similar rallies that happened nationwide.
The rallies were sparked after President Donald Trump fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions and replaced him with Matthew Whitaker. Many activists are afraid Whitaker may stop the Russia investigation.
“It’s important to us that our government still has some ounce of integrity and that we’re able to protect our democracy, said McKayla Weaver.
The rally was organized by the National Organization for Women.
