FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) – A Kentucky judge has temporarily sealed portions of the testimony of a woman who accused Republican lawmakers of sexual harassment.

Franklin County Circuit Judge Phillip Shepherd ruled Thursday parts of the testimony of a former Kentucky House Republican caucus employee will remain hidden until a lawyer for three of the accused lawmakers has a chance to question the woman. Shepherd ordered that questioning must take place within the next 30 days.

Shepherd ruled the transcript will automatically become available to the public 10 days after the questioning is complete, unless the order is extended.

Republican state Reps. Jeff Hoover, Michael Meredith and Jim DeCesare had asked the judge to seal portions of the transcript because their attorney argued releasing it would violate a confidential legal settlement with the woman.
