LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Former Vice Mayor Linda Gorton’s party campaign was endorsed by the current Mayor of Lexington Jim Gray. She also won the primary with 41% of the vote.

The retired nurse is no stranger to city politics. She served one term under Mayor Gray as Vice Mayor during her 16 years on the urban county council.

Part of that vision is creating what Gorton calls a 21st century economy. Part of this is a master plan that includes the development of Coldstream Park as well as removing outdated regulations.
