CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – JonEvan Jack’s is a place where carnival food and homemade country cooking merge to create unique flavors! Today we talked to owners Nathan and Miranda Brown about how the restaurant got started and what guests like you can expect.
If you’re looking for mouth-watering goodness, you’re headed to the right place! JonEvan Jack’s serves a burger topped with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, onion, a homemade sweet bacon dressing and crushed pineapple. Nathan also suggests that you try the deep fried bologna appetizer. It looks like fries, tastes like paradise. Mhmm!
Nathan said that once he started cooking at age 16, he fell in love with the restaurant business. He started out as a dishwasher at his father-in-law’s restaurant in the mid 90s, and worked his way to restaurant owner. That same building he started in would eventually become JonEvan Jack’s.
About three years ago, the Browns and a few other family members opened a restaurant in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Once the building in Corbin became available, they moved their restaurant and have seen great success!
If you’re headed through Corbin, be sure to stop by and say hello to the Brown family and experience the incredible restaurant they’ve created.
Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
