Severe weather possible Monday night

0

Overview:
A cold front will move through Kentucky Sunday night and bring rain showers throughout the overnight hours into early Monday morning. Expect mostly cloudy skies for your Monday with a warm front cold front one two punch Monday night into Tuesday. The Storm Prediction Center has placed central Kentucky under a slight risk for severe weather Monday night. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Moderate risk upgrade Monday morning for portions of central Kentucky. The type of severe weather and if certain location see any will depends on the instability in the atmosphere. IF areas of central Kentucky see periods of sunshine during the day Monday the potential for severe weather will increase.
