Alleged burglary suspect arrested after leaving ID at scene

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — A man who allegedly burglarized a business Wednesday night was arrested after leaving his ID behind.

36-year-old Jonathan Brewer accessed a computer system at Strong Auto, on Eastland Drive, without the owner’s consent to refund money to his bank card fraudulently, according to the arrest citation.

Brewer was caught on camera using the credit card machine, and left behind his ID and bank card.

He is being charged with first-degree unlawful access to a computer and third-degree burglary.
