The Fayette County Coroner’s Office Office has identified a motorcyclist killed in a crash on Georgetown Road Monday.
The coroner says he is 36-year-old Benjamin Murphy, of Lexington.
Murphy’s death is being investigated as an accident, according to the coroner.
UPDATE: LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says Spurr Road and Iron Works Pike are back open.
The road was closed for about seven hours after a motorcycle side-swiped a tractor-trailer.
UPDATE: LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Traffic officials say Spurr Road and Iron Works Pike still remain blocked after a deadly motorcycle accident Monday afternoon.
They say there is not estimate of how much longer the road will be blocked.

The coroner pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured, according to the coroner.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the accident.
