LEXINGTON, KY (WTVQ)- In a game that felt destined to be a loss, the University of Kentucky football team did the improbable. On an untimed down to finish the game, Terry Wilson connected with CJ Conrad on a quick out from two-yards out to give the Wildcats the 15-14 win.
After struggling to find any offense all game, Kentucky scored 12 points in the final six minutes of the game.
With the win, the Wildcats move to 7-1 on the season and 5-1 in SEC play. It’s the first time ever that Kentucky has had a five-win SEC record. They’re back at home next Saturday to take on Georgia. The winner of that game will play for the SEC Championship. Kick-off is set for 3:30 p.m.
