Scott County school bus in accident with deer

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Scott County Schools says one of its buses with students on board was hit by a deer Thursday morning.

It happened on McClelland Circle near US 460 West around 8:10 a.m.

The district says a deer ran into the side of the bus and broke out a window.

Some students suffered scratches, according to the district.

Another bus arrived to take students to Scott County Middle School, Scott County High School, and Cardinal Academy.

The district says parents were notified about the accident.
