UPDATE: Missing Clark Co. woman with dementia found safe

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Winchester Police say Felicia Gilbert has been found safe.

They say she will be returned to her home at Meadowthorpe Assisted Living.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Winchester Police and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office have issued a golden alert for a woman who they say left her assisted living facility in Lexington on Monday.

They say 79-year-old Felicia Gilbert has dementia and is on medication, but doesn’t have it with her.

Police say Gilbert left Meadowthorpe Assisted Living in Lexington around 11:30 Monday morning. They say she was then driven to Richmond by a friend where she was last seen at a home on Fox Glove Lane Monday night at 9:30.

Gilbert is described as 4’11”, 140 pounds, and black hair. She was last seen wearing a teal green windbreaker, dark pants, and a dark shirt with a white pattern.
