LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)-  Investigators with the Lexington Police Department are searching for a man suspected of robbing another man of cash and a pizza, pizza that ultimately served as an important piece of evidence in identifying the suspect.

Police believe that 38-year-old Lenard McDonald and a woman approached a man getting out of his car with two Hot-N-Ready pizzas from Little Caesars. The victim says McDonald pointed a gun at him and took cash, along with one of the pizzas.

When officers arrived at the apartment, they found a Hot-N-Ready pizza box with an uneaten pepperoni pizza inside.

Rodgers was arrested, but the search continues for McDonald.
