LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Several Kentucky law professors were among the more than 2,400 who signed a letter opposing Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
Of that number, seven are UK law professors.
The letter says the professors oppose Kavanaugh’s confirmation not because of the sexual assault allegations against him, but because of his temperament during the hearing.
The letter was published as an opinion editorial in the New York Times and was also presented to the senate this week.
Kavanaugh wrote his own op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, acknowledging he said a few things he shouldn’t have during the hearing.
He also wrote he hopes people understand he was there as a “Son, husband, and dad.”
