Summer continues to hang on as temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees above normal for the week. Because of the heat and humidity, afternoon showers with an isolated thunderstorm or two cannot be ruled out each day. A weak front will persist just to our north which will also help trigger some precipitation especially in our north counties.
