Police investigate robbery at a Lexington Rite Aid


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are searching for a suspect following a robbery at a Lexington pharmacy.

According to the Lexington Police Department, a man walked into the Rite Aid at 130 W. Loudon Avenue just after 9 a.m. on Friday and pulled out a knife.

He demanded cash and ran off after getting it.

Police say the suspect arrived on a bicycle but left it behind when he ran from the store.

Police are going over the bicycle for fingerprints.

They say they also plan to review surveillance video from the store.
