Lexington police ask for help identifying those who flipped car on State St.


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Police Department says it is working to identify several individuals who flipped a car on State Street last weekend.

Police say a large crowd gathered on the street following the University of Kentucky football team’s win over the Florida Gators on Saturday, September 8.

Several people turned over a White Volvo that was parked on the street, totaling it, according to police.

Police say multiple witnesses captured pictures and video of the incident, including the Kentucky Kernel newspaper.

Police released several pictures on Friday, asking the public for help in generating new leads.
