Dry to start, but with all the moisture in the air you will run into patchy fog this morning. Temperatures are starting in the mid to upper 60s. Expect some cloud cover today with sunshine mixed in. It will be hot and humid with temperatures warming into the mid 80s. A few spotty showers are possible through the afternoon because of the heat and humidity. High pressure is sitting to our north over the Great Lakes and will keep control of our weather through the next few days. Extra moisture will continue to move in, so you’ll notice it feeling muggier today. Tonight temperatures will be in the upper 60s with mostly cloudy skies and patchy fog. We’ll work in more sunshine Friday, but it will still be hot and humid with spotty showers possible. That trend continues for your Saturday. Rain chances will pick-up late Sunday and into the start of the work week thanks to what will be the remnants of Florence. Florence will make landfall around the Carolinas Friday as a category 2 hurricane. The track of Florence moves through portions of Kentucky with an increased chance for rain through Eastern Kentucky. Locally we could see 1 to 2” of rain by Wednesday. Areas along the coast could see 40” of rain with a 9 to 13’ storm surge.
