Rain from Hurricane Florence may affect Kentucky early next week

Overview:  Warmer temperatures return for Thursday and through the extended forecast, with low to mid 80s expected each afternoon. We will be closely watching Hurricane Florence, which could bring rain to Kentucky, by early next week.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures continue, with a low of 65 degrees.

THURSDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures develop, with a high of 84 degrees. A few spotty rain showers will be possible.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop, with a low temperature of 68 degrees.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures develop, with a high of 86 degrees. A few rain showers will be possible.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop, with a low of 69 degrees.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures develop, with a high of 85 degrees. A stray rain shower will be possible, yet most of us should stay dry.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures continue, with a low of 68 degrees.

SUNDAY: Increasing clouds and warm temperatures develop for Sunday, with the chance for some late day rain showers. High temperatures will be around 83 degrees.

SUNDAY NIGHT: We may continue to have rain chances into Sunday night, with low temperatures around 69 degrees.

MONDAY: Rain from the remnants of Hurricane Florence look to move across Kentucky during the day Monday, with a high temperature of 82 degrees.

MONDAY NIGHT: Rain chances continue, with a low of 67 degrees.

TUESDAY:  Mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will be possible, with a high temperature of 83 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop, with a low of 66 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy skies and isolated rain will be possible, with a high temperature of 84 degrees.
