LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department says a fire was intentionally set last month at a building where two people were inside.
Fire broke out at the building at 301 Newtown Pike on Monday, August 20.
The building has a business on the first floor and several apartments on the second floor.
Firefighters say two people were inside an apartment sleeping when the fire started and they barely escaped the burning building.
The Lexington Fire Department says the Lexington Fire/Arson Investigation Bureau is investigating the case.
