Hurricane Florence could bring rain to Kentucky by this weekend

Overview:  Cool temperatures continue into Tuesday, with a warming trend back to the low to mid 80s for the end of the work week. We will be closely watching Hurricane Florence, which could bring rain as far west as Kentucky, depending on the exact track the hurricane takes.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop, with a low of 56 degrees.  Patchy fog and drizzle will be possible at times tonight.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and cool temperatures continue, with a high temperature of 73 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop, with a low of 60 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy linger, with a high temperature 78 degrees.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures continue, with a low of 65 degrees.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures develop, with a high of 84 degrees.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop, with a low temperature of 67 degrees.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures develop, with a high of 85 degrees. A few rain showers will be possible.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop, with a low of 68 degrees.

WEEKEND: The exact track of Hurricane Florence will dictate Kentucky’s weather this weekend and into early next week. Weather models are mostly showing high temperatures in the low to mid 80s, with rain chances developing across Kentucky.
