LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — The third annual Part-time Jobs Fair, supported by the Stuckert Career Center and University of Kentucky Student Employment, will take place 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6.
UK says more than 40 employers will line the hallways on the first floor of the White Hall Classroom Building to provide UK students the chance to discuss part-time job opportunities.
Dress will be business casual. Be sure to bring copies of your résumé. Résumé review is available at the Stuckert Career Center. Students can schedule appointments via their UK Handshake accounts or take advantage of drop-in hours at the Career Center, noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
This year, the staff of the Stuckert Career Center and Student Employment focused their efforts on employers who are willing to accommodate and support the schedule demands of full-time college students, while also providing students the opportunity to gain valuable experience.
An impressive variety of industries are available for the UK student population. A few of the employers registered for the Part-time Jobs Fair event include Apple, Coca-Cola, EZ Gig, Hilton, FedEx Ground, Panera Bread, Raising Cane’s and multiple UK departments.
