Lane closure scheduled for New Circle Road in Fayette County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that a temporary lane closure is scheduled for New Circle Road/KY 4 in Lexington, Fayette County.  The closure is necessary for crews to install a temporary barrier wall on the outside shoulder of New Circle Road.

The lane closure will impact the inner loop of New Circle at Georgetown Road. This will start Thursday, August 30 at 7 p.m. and end Friday, August 31 at 2 a.m.

KYTC says access to the Georgetown Road ramp will remain open.

All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
