LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A memorial service for John Asher is being held at Churchill Downs next week.
The vice president of racing communications and the man known as the longtime face of Churchill Downs died Monday while on vacation in Orlando, Florida.
He was 62.
Asher’s visitation is scheduled for next Tuesday in the Triple Crown Room of the Jockey Club Suites at Churchill Downs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
His funeral will be held next Wednesday at the Cathedral of the Assumption in downtown Louisville at 2 p.m.
