After a dry start to the day, isolated to scattered showers and storms will be possible starting late morning. It will be hot and humid once again with temperatures settling into the upper 80s. Clouds will increase through the day as well. Temperatures tonight will fall into the low to mid 70s with some patchy fog, but also a few showers and storms. Shower and storm chances continue Thursday as a cold front moves through the region. Some storms may produce heavy rain at times and gusty wind, but the severe threat is low. Highs Thursday will be slightly lower than the start of the week settling into the low 80s. We’ll see a chance for isolated showers and storms Friday and into the holiday weekend with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. It does not look like a washout for Labor Day plans.
