LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A grand jury has indicted a man involved in a crash that left a pregnant woman dead.
According to Kentucky State Police, 18-year-old Kaytlynn Doss, of Lawrenceburg, was thrown from the Jeep Grand Cherokee she was driving on May 11 on US 127.
An autopsy revealed Doss was pregnant and the unborn child also died.
State Police say 18-year-old Colton Willard, of Lawrenceburg, was the front seat passenger and, according to The Anderson County newspaper, Willard was accused of “recklessly causing the death” of Doss.
Two additional passengers seated in the rear of the vehicle were also injured.
On August 21, The Anderson County Grand Jury indicted Willard for reckless homicide, fetal homicide, and assault.
Willard was arrested and served the indictment warrant on August 28.
