LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that a temporary closure is rescheduled for Watts Ferry Road/KY 1964 in Woodford County. The closure will be for pipe work. The pipe replacement operation is necessary as a result of the storm damage that occurred in July.
KYTC says the rescheduled dates are Thursday, August 23 through Friday, August 24. This will take place at Watts Ferry Road at mile point 19.1 from 12 a.m. Thursday until 8 a.m. Friday.
An alternate route has been put in place. Drivers should plan to detour to Clifton Road.
All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
