Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to be in the forecast for the remainder of the work week with a Marginal Risk of Severe Weather on for Today. Friday’s severe weather threat includes heavy rainfall. Cannot rule out an isolated storm, but better coverage will return later in the afternoon with some heating. Once again, there could be some localized flood issues due to heavy rainfall.
More significant rainfall arrives tonight into Saturday area wide. Expect multiple rounds of showers and storms to continue through the extended forecast to a small break Sunday with mostly sunny skies.
