CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A new cupola is finally being put back on the Clark County Courthouse. The old tower was removed last year because of rotted wood that was causing leaks into the courthouse when it rained.
Campbellsville Industries installed the new clock tower Wednesday. The new cupola is fabricated from a structural steel and aluminum angle inner framework, and clad in a heavy aluminum with a baked-on finish for years of maintenance-free service. The gold leafing on the dome and final was donated anonymously by a local supporter of the clock tower project.
