LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested a man they say followed a woman home from work two weekends ago, forced his way into her apartment, and raped her.
Police say a woman was walking home from work on South Limestone Street on July 27th, when she noticed a man following her.
According to police, she ran to her apartment, but the man forced his way inside and started to grope her underneath her clothing.
That’s when police say she pepper sprayed the man, causing him to run off.
Police say she identified 26-year-old Gary Barker as her attacker.
