Lincoln Co. Sheriff looking for runaway driver

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lincoln County Sheriff is looking for a man who reportedly ran away from a constable Friday night.

Deputies say around 10 p.m. the constable was patrolling near South Fork Lake Road when he saw a car sitting in a field.

When he tried to talk to the driver, the car sped off into the field.

After it got stuck, the driver reportedly ran into the woods.

The department says that driver can come see its deputies to get the car back.
