LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that thermoplastic marking operations are scheduled for New Circle Road/KY 4.
KYTC says short term stoppages are necessary for markings to be installed and retraced. The markings improve reflectivity and visibility.
From Thursday, July 26 through Friday, July 27, the mobile lane closures will be in effect between Harrodsburg Road and Versailles Road on the inner and outer loops of New Circle Road.
The closures will start 7 p.m. on Thursday and last until 6 a.m. Friday.
Drivers should be aware of short term stoppages and signage directing of the work.
Delays could be 15 – 20 minutes at a time.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
