WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man who walked away from work detail in Clark County last month will be spending more time behind bars.
According to Clark County District Court, Curtis Reece pleaded guilty on Wednesday to criminal attempt and was sentenced to an additional six months in jail.
Reece was serving time in the Clark County jail for felony theft.
He walked away from the Clark County Detention Center Inmate Road crew on June 19.
He was found two days later in Clay City.
His girlfriend, Kimberly Burton, was also arrested.
Clark County District Court says she pleaded guilty on Wednesday to criminal attempt and was sentenced to 30 days home incarceration.
