CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ)-The weather cooperated for a river clean up Saturday at Cumberland Falls.
It was a combined effort between The Red Oaks Center for Nature and the Arts & Stand Up Paddle Boarding Kentucky.
It wasn’t just good for the environment, it was also a teaching moment for the kids taking part.
They learned about good environmental stewardship by picking up trash and hauling it up two steep flights of stairs.
Luckily, they got to see a beautiful rainbow as a reward.
