VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – Even a crane was needed for the cleanup effort after Mother Nature turned the streets of Woodford County into a forest.
Aaron Blair waited out the storm with his daughter. They prayed while sitting in a closet. Blair’s now helping people get back to normal.
“I am absolutely glad to see all the folk out here helping each other,” said Blair.
Preston Upthegrove and Adam Webster had significant damage to their homes, but that didn’t stop them from picking up a chainsaw and taking action.
“We’ve just been going around, cutting up trees, setting them off by the road for the city to come chop up, but we’re mostly just cleaning up for people so they don’t have to pickup the mess,” said Webster.
