We’ve been seeing scattered showers and storms mainly through the afternoon with temperatures staying slightly cooler and in the 80s today. Dew points have certainly gone up and you can feel the stickiness in the air. Activity will taper off through the evening and overnight, but isolated showers are still possible. Scattered showers and storms are possible once again Monday, mainly during the afternoon, thanks to a cold front moving through the area. Some storms may be on the strong to isolated severe side with gusty wind and heavy rain being the biggest concerns. Highs Monday will top out in the mid to upper 80s under mostly cloudy skies. Monday night, temperatures will fall around 70 degrees with showers still possible. This activity will continue mainly through Tuesday morning before breaking up through the afternoon. Expect to see decreasing clouds Tuesday afternoon with temperatures in the mid 80s. We’ll see more sunshine Wednesday with less muggy air and temperatures in the low to mid 80s. We’ll see more sunshine Thursday with temperatures in the mid 80s and hold on to the less muggy air. It will begin to feel muggier into the weekend with highs still in the mid 80s and isolated to scattered showers and storms.
