We’ll begin to turn up the heat and humidity today

It is still comfortable this morning with low dew points and temperatures in the low to mid 60s. It will become increasingly muggier through the day with dew points back in the mid to upper 60s later today. We’ll see plenty of sunshine once again with highs reaching around 90 degrees. Tonight, we’ll see mostly clear skies and temperatures around 70 degrees. By tomorrow we could see isolated rain chances into the afternoon, but mainly should stay dry. It will be muggier and hotter through the weekend with temperatures in the low 90s. A better chance for showers and storms arrives Sunday thanks to a trough of low pressure. A cold front will move through Monday bringing a scattered and better chance for showers and storms, which will continue Tuesday. Temperatures Monday and Tuesday will settle into the mid to upper 80s. Shower and storm chances drop off Wednesday with decreasing clouds and temperatures in the mid 80s. We’ll see more sunshine Thursday with temperatures in the mid 80s and a slight chance for isolated showers thanks to a second cold front.
