WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two people accused in a double murder in Wolfe County entered pleas Thursday.
Carla Hunt and Devante Hall were arrested in connection to the 2016 murders of Brandy Davidson and Devin Payton.
Davidson’s body was found in Wolfe County in a wooded area near a rental cabin off of KY 11.
Payton’s body was found in Montgomery County.
On Thursday, Hunt pleaded guilty to facilitation to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence.
She was sentenced to three years for facilitation to commit murder and three years for tampering with physical evidence. She was also given 5 years probation
Hall’s murder charge was amended to manslaughter. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter, burglary and tampering with physical evidence.
The prosecutor recommended 13 years for manslaughter, 13 years for burglary and 5 years for tampering with physical evidence
Hall will be sentenced on August 9.
