LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Corbin man had to be extricated from the SUV he was driving after it ended up on its top in a crash on I-75 in Laurel County, according to the sheriff’s department.
Investigators say 55-year old James McClane told them he was driving south on I-75 Wednesday afternoon in heavy rain when a vehicle in front of him stopped. He says he put on his brakes, lost control of the SUV, went off the interstate and overturned.
Deputies say McClane was trapped in his SUV. He was rescued by the London Laurel Rescue Squad and Laurel County Fire Department.
He was taken to the hospital in London for treatment of possible injuries, according to investigators.
He was the only driver involved in the accident.
