PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Four cases of hepatitis A have been confirmed in Floyd County the health department announced Wednesday.
Health officials say they don’t know if the four people are connected to the food industry.
All the immediate family members of the sick have been vaccinated, according to the health department.
Health officials say none of the diagnosed people pose an immediate risk to others.
Officials did stress that there is not a hepatitis A outbreak in the county.
