The sheriff says the driver, King’s son, swerved to avoid a deer running across the road, when he lost control of the truck and it rolled over several times.

King, who the sheriff says was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was taken to the hospital, where he died Thursday.

King’s son was also taken to the hospital, but has since been released.

According to the sheriff’s office, wet roads also may have been a factor in the crash.

King’s family is raising money to pay for funeral expenses. You can donate to the fund by clicking here.
