SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left one person in critical condition at Newtown Pike and Johnson Mill Road.
Police say there were two people in the car, a father and son. The son was driving. The father has life threatening injures and the son is in the hospital, but expected to survive.
Police believe the cause of the wreck was a combination of wet roads and a deer that ran in front of the car. The driver lost control of the car and it rolled over multiple times.
Newtown Pike is shut down between Lemons Mill Road and Paris Pike. It is expected to reopen around 6p.m.
No names were immediately released.
