RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) –State Police conducted a routine traffic stop Thursday that left a man behind bars.
KSP says 31-year-old Joseph Hammond was driving a gold 2000 Pontiac along Ky 619 when it was stopped.
State Police say Hammond gave troopers a fake name and date of birth. During a search, troopers found a small amount of methamphetamine, a suboxone pill, several syringes and two firearms.
Hammond was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
