Temperatures made it back in the mid and some upper 80s this afternoon before a round of showers and storms moved through. Storm activity will continue through this evening, but decrease as we head into the overnight. Storms today will be strong to isolated severe. Main concerns will be gusty wind, heavy rain, and lightning. Heavy rain may cause localized flooding issues. Tonight, temperatures will settling in the upper 60s with isolated activity potentially lingering. More showers and storms are on the way Monday with highs in the mid 80s. It will still be hot and humid. This trend will continue through most of the week. Expect hot and humid weather with a chance for showers and storms each afternoon with the exception of Wednesday. High pressure will settle in briefly Wednesday evening for slightly drier conditions. Temperatures Tuesday and into next weekend will remain in the mid to upper 80s with high dew points, so it will be muggy. Storm chances look to linger into next weekend as well.
