It has been a hot and humid day with temperatures in the upper 80s and around 90 degrees. We’ve seen plenty of sunshine at least. Isolated shower and storm activity could pop up this afternoon and early evening because of the heat and humidity, but chances are on the lower end of the scale. Rain and storm chances pick up Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 80s with some 90s possible Saturday. We’ll see more of the activity focused on the afternoon and evening hours because of the heat and humidity. Rain and storms continue Monday and Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. A cold front will move in Tuesday night and drop to our south Wednesday. Wednesday we will see a brief area of high pressure settling in giving us a little dry time into the second half of the day. The front will begin to move back north Thursday bringing a return chance for showers and storms. A few lingering, early showers and storms are possible Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Mainly we will see a summer-like pattern next week with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s with high humidity and a chance for showers and storms each afternoon.
